Football blogger awards: call for entries

by Picklive on October 11, 2010

Nominations are now open for the ‘Not 100 percent awards’ 2010. The NOPAs recognise excellence in football blogging and football podcasting. There are five categories:

  1. Best football blog
  2. Best football podcast
  3. Best individual contributor to a football blog or podcast
  4. Best new football blog or podcast (must have launched during 2010)
  5. Best young football blogger/podder (must be 25 or under on 31st Dec 2010).

All nominations will automatically be entered into a 6th category, the People’s Choice Award, the winner of which will be decided by public vote.

A panel of judges will announce a shortlist in each category who will be invited to an awards ceremony in London in December where the winners will be announced. The statuettes themselves will as close as possible mirror the Le Tournoi trophy that England won in 1997.

Voting for the People’ Choice award will not go live until after the shortlists have been announced in November. To nominate a blog or podcast then please go to the nominations page here.

Make sure all these are submitted at http://not100percentawards.com/ chaps. Only nominations received there will be considered. One other thing please all note that at this stage its nominations only ITS NOT A VOTE. Ie once a nomination has been received once it will be considered for shortlisting there is no need to canvas votes at this stage if your chosen entry has been nominated once.

A Football Report has to be on here. Some of the best writing I’ve seen anywhere. They could all be proper journalists, easily.
